And just like that...!
...The first day of Kindergarten snuck up on us! He was nothing but excited to head off this morning!

There was an open house at school last week, where he was able to find his classroom and meet his teacher, and we know there are a few of his good buddies in his class!
He will be going to and from school every day with Dad! Since Corey works at the high school it works out perfect for Kael to go with him and then ride the bus to the elementary school from there.

I LOVE you bud! 

I can't wait to hear all about your day!

I found this poem and made me think of you and I broke down all over again. 

I know you're ready and having a great time at school but you will always be my baby and I will forever worry about you...

I wonder what you’re doing right now,

And if everyone is treating you kind.

I hope there is a special person,

A nice friend that you can find.

 

I wonder if the teacher knows

Just how special you are to me.

And if the brightness of your heart,

Is something she can see.

 

I wonder if you are thinking about

And if you need a hug.


I already miss the sound of your voice,

And how you give my leg a tug.

How hard it is for me to let you grow.

On this day know that my heart breaks,

For this is the first step in letting my baby go.
