Hello, again!

I guess it's been awhile!

Nothing too exciting around here lately. The winter 'blahs' are fully set in. I can't wait for spring. The good news is, in about a month, I finally get my hubby back when basketball is done! Can't wait for that!

This was from a few weeks back when we had some freezing rain. My boys kept trying keep the sidewalk clear before it froze solid. We have much more snow than that now. Corey made a snow tunnel for the kiddos right there yesterday.

Corey's brother Jordan and May are getting married! So a big congrats to them! The plans are set for early March but no for sure date quite yet.

Audrina fell asleep one afternoon on our bedroom floor! Interesting.

 

Kael is back to preschool the past few weeks. Well, he has been back 2 days since the big long winter break. He didn't want to go back on the 15th when it started back up, he said he needed a longer break. Hm? He was off for a month and it completely threw me when he said he didn't want to go. I thought he loved school! I didn't push him since it would actually be much easier on Mom to not go ;) (Waking up 3 kids at 7:30 a.m., running into town by 9, unpacking the gang to bring Kael into class, going home for 2 hours so Kenton can get his nap in, packing the younger 2 back in the van/back in the school to pick up Kael...is just not super fun!!) But at least it's only twice a week and the smile he has on his face when he comes running out of his classroom and all the fun projects he makes, pretty much make it worth it!

Kenton had his first haircut! A much needed haircut, finally! I guess I was just so used to his 'mullet' as Daddy called it. I cut off a good 2 inches or more! I had to take 2 go's at it, and he could probably get it a bit more trimmed up, but, cutting a one year olds hair is quite tricky. I almost cut myself a few times as he wiggled around. He looks like such a big boy now! Where's my baby?!

I completely forgot to take a 'before' picture so here is one from December. You can see the hair going down his back! Haha!

I'm hoping the weather stays warmer this week and the kids will continue to want to play outside. It would be nice if I could get going on a fun project. I don't remember the last time I've done any of my Pinterest projects...!
